My first guess would be that one or more of your parameters is off.

what are your levels?

I have had the same problem, were everything was growing well then all the sudden bam dieing would by new coral and it would die as well. I measure all parahms and every thing was great. I started to do large water changes and things started to stay level. I needed to watch temp and all other pertinent water parahms.

I started out doing a 35 gallon water chance every two weeks and the corals were doing great! Then my cheapness began to take over and I stretched the water change to three weeks and then four weeks without adding any supplements. And then, bamm! The corals started to loose tissue and subsequently lost one coral and seriously damaged others. I then conducted weekly 35 gallon water changes and the corals are beginning to come back. So, my point is the parameters were all in line with the excepting of my RO/DI (TSD 9). I have changed the filters and made several water changes which have helped. I truly believe that SMALL changes in water quality can have a big impact. My advise would be to make weekly or bi-weekly water changes if possible to maintain the stability within the tank.

My2 cents!

Hard to see the red bugs. Most likely, one of your parameters are off. In my case, I found out that it was my ALK that went out of whack, although I didn't think of it till it was too late. It dropped from 9-10 to 7 and I thought that was still okay at the time.:thumbdown

Huge water changes could shock the coral and throw parameters off, any bad crabs visable or major PH swings, also remember to always dip before introducing to the tank! Just a reminder, no tank is completly pest free. Good luck! Sorry for the lose:spin3::spin3:
