I would be seriously creeped out finding that in my tank. If you grabbed that thing to remove it I give you major credit...I would have squeeled like a small girl and ran for the kitchen tongs!

Personally...I would have "released" that worm outside. It's minus 12F here in Wisconsin today, perfect weather for worms...right?
