Acro's keep dying HELP!!!!!

As others have said, I would shut protein skimmer down, feed heavily, maybe add another fish to raise NO3 & PO4. I would also continue to bring ALK down. If you're at zero there's no nutrients in your system. I'm assuming you barely ever have to clean glass off?

Just removed all of the leathers in my tank I guess now we'll see if that was the issue
I hope you didn't chuck them out. Hopefully you just moved them to another tank? May or may not be the issue. Often these sorts of issues are a combination effect...like low nutrients, high alkalinity, leather toxins, maybe something else too.

Great. :)

Well, you removed the leathers and you're working on lowering alkalinity. You're on the right track, so now all you have to do is wait and see if there is improvement. I wouldn't mess with anything else right now. Give it a few weeks and reassess. Good luck.

It's "miss", but that's ok. :D

Dial it back until alkalinity drops, then bump it back up to the maintenance level. Since the calcium will drop too, you will probably have to add a bit of calcium chloride.

Question for you. I use real sea water for all my water changes direct from the inlet at high tide. been doing it for 10 years. i know people have issues with that whats your thinking? my water guy brings it fresh after he get it. would mixing be better. more nutrients in the mixed salt?

Test the NSW for nitrate and phosphate. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There could be other issues using it if it isn't clean, but you should be fine - lots of people use NSW. Personally, I'd run it through a 50 micron sock to catch any debris.
