Acrylic Crack

I have a 300gallon acrylic tank that has a small crack it the back at the top. I have a good idea on how to repair it. But I would love to hear from someone with a similar experence. Any help would be greatly appreaciated......Thanks.......

Not sure...but can you drain the tank past the crack, have a piece of acrylic that will patch it and use some acrylic bonding agent to fix it? If it's on a seam, I'm not sure I would trust it to hold.

No matter how you fix it, I would always have that in the back of my mind as a possible failure.

Good luck!

is it at the top seam? if so, clean and dry it is good as possible, and use some weldon 4 or weldon 16 - the gel would probably work best to avoid drips into the tank. If it is not, ouch! then i'm not so sure

Thanks everyone for your responses. The tank was dropped. The person who owned it did'nt trust using it after that so I bought it. I used weld on to seal the crack. I also used 1/4 plexi to overlay a good size section in the back just to be safe. All tested and NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!! Awesome. Now the real fun starts........
