acrylic diy

Im making a wavebox and I have everything I need but some weldon16. anyone know of any place local that sells it? Ive asked at lowes, HD and ace. They all look at me like im crazy. I also checked their glue, plumbing and glass/acrylic depts to no avail. any help would be great!

Are you sure you dont want to use weldon 3 or 4? 16 is for sealing cracks and pulling the pieces together...it also is more prone to air bubbles. Check out melev's site for more info. Did you make your own controller?

I was gonna try to use my 7091 or find a 6091 cheap. Ill use whatever is easiest...its my first attempt.

If you dont mind driving there is a place down by sandlake road , they sell acrylic sheets etc also. id have to look up the addy again if you wanted it . prolly cost you more in gas and traffic head ache than ordering online though.

Farco or House of Plastics should carry the glue and acrylic you need and they can cut it to spec.

I have a new 6091 that I am not using. The 7091 wont work since it doesnt stop the pump, it pulses it 30% at the lowest point. I will trade it for something reef related.

Well the 7091 will work but the wave won't be as strong as it could be.

Pacific...I have seen that thread.....anything your looking for? I have a 7091 controller...7095 controller...Id have to check what else I have.

i didnt think it shut off completley inbetween, like the 7091

Yes according to Tunze's website under the 7095 "A wavebox 6212 and the pumps mentioned above can also be controlled by the Multicontroller" I am using the new 7096 to control my wavebox and it stops from 0 to 100%. If you still want the 6091 though just let me know.
