Not at all, 1" min for that. If you can put a 3" perimeter flange (euro-brace) on there, then 1/2" is just fineJames would 1/2" (good acrylic) work for 36 long x 26 wide x 22 high rimless?

Anyone know how to bend acrylic tubing without kinking it
fill it with sandAnyone know how to bend acrylic tubing without kinking it
I guess that depends on the diameter of the tube, filling 2"+ with wire can be problematicI prefer electrical wire as a mandrill, but sand works well too.

yes, by heating the sheet in an oven evenly and drape forming it in halves in a mold with a male and female pieces to hold the piece while it cools. Wrapping it around something doesnt work worth a crap, you dont have enough time before it starts too cool and harden before you can get it placed properly
soooo cap the ends so the sand doesn't come out. just drill a little hole in the end for outgassing.i tried once filling with sand after heating bending the sand just pushed out of bend then kinked

Hope you're doin' well, Mr Tab
