Acrylic rods for aquascaping

I am preparing to aquascape my new tank but can't find acrylic rods.

Any major retailers have them or will I have to order them?

just go to home depot or lowes and look for where they have the signs( for sale, open house ect) and you will see the red signs for driveways. cut the top off and you have the rod that you need. they come in different thickness.

That's what I do as well. The figerglass rods that driveway reflectors are attached to work perfect. They are ~1/4" diameter and very strong, can easily be cut to whatever length you might need.

I would really avoid permanently cementing/epoxying your rock work together. It will make catching any fish pretty much impossible, and you will be stuck with that aquascape until the end of time.

I am scaping a 50g. cube and will need to build some tall but narrow structures. I guess a lot will depend on what size/shape rocks I get from Marco. To be honest I am a terrible aquascaper, seems I have no vision. I always seem to end up with a pile of rocks.
