Acrylic Scratch Removal Referals

I have a moderate size reef tank that has been set up for several years. During this time, the tank has accumulated some scratches that I would now like to have removed. Can anyone suggest any services or people that would assist with scratch removal? I could do this myself with the Lifeguard scratch kit, but I'd rather have someone with some experience try this. I've tried this with some "test" acrylic pieces but have difficulty getting the fine scratches/haze cleared up a the high grit level. Any information would be appreciated.

I used a wet sander from 400-2000 grits then novus 3, 2 , and 1. Worked great, but yes I would hire someone to do it for me next time as it is time consuming.

I made a video of how I sanded a couple acrylic aquariums using magnets and sand paper while the tank was still running. The results were amazing. It should give you a good method of removing scratches from your system without distortion.

Hope tank is empty. Check Craigslist. There’s a guy that offer scratch removal service. He quoted me once and since I don’t have any attachment to the tank, I opt out of his service because it was better/cheaper to buy a used glass star fire tank.

I removed scratches on 350 and 450g tank. Lotsa elbow work.
