Acrylic scratches...Who sells Novus 2 & 3 locally?

My first attempt at Acrylic scratch cleaning did not go well and I can't find my Novus 2 and 3. I was thinking about using that along with the 400, 1500 and 2000 grit sandpapers so I can use a power tool.

I tried all sandpapers today and finished off with Novus 1 to polish but it still looks hazy. I think I just didn't spend enough time on each layer...I'd really like to use my buffer attachments...hence the Novus. I heard Novus 3 is about 600 grit and Novus 3 is in the 1200 grit range.

I can order it..but I wanted to make sure I have it by next weekend.

Thanks.

Thanks...I just called and they do have it. I think I even have a reason to be in Lancaster tomorrow so that might work out.

Thanks..I had already seen those which is actually what my initial post was based on. I have my own plan now I think. I followed his suggestions but I was not happy with the transparency after the 2000 grit. A nice buff with Novus 2 after the 2000 worked nicely which is odd because the Novus 2 is supposed to be around 1200.

So my current plan is 400 (only were needed), 600 in trouble areas (sand line), then in all areas: 1000, novus 3, 1500, 2000, Novus 2, Novus 1.

Say goodbye to my weekend!

I'm only going to do the inside like this. I'll do the outside once the tank is back in place so I can see what is really still needed.
