Acrylic Tank Bowing - How much is too much??

just setting up a 138" x 26" x 24", front and back are 1.25" (which I think are overkill), ends are 3/4", top and bottom are 1", zero detectable bow

Not overkill at all in my opinion. I would have built it the same way although probably would have gone with 1" ends. My 96"x48"x24" tall tank is 1.25" front and back, 1" sides, top and bottom. My tank is just over 20 years old now and has no bow at all.
