What can I use to stop a leak in a tank? I tested a tank for a sump and it leaks near the bottom. Can I just use a bit of silicone sealant? What is good to use in this situation? The slit looks really small, about an inch.
HD also sells an acrylic silicone that can be used if you can't find the weldon. If it's a bit of a gap, there is also a thinker type of weldon that can seal it. But you'll probably have to go to an acrylic shop to find weld on products. I haven't seen in in my local Lowes or Home Depot.
