glass:
heavier, break much easier, more scratch resistant, will not yellow over time,

acrylic:
lighter, will bend more instead of breaking, better insulator, clearer, will scratch if you look at it funny, will yellow over time, elements will eventually cause lines in the sides that are hard \ impossible to get rid of, easier to drill,

get the largest tank you can accomodate for the budget. you will have a much easier time maintaining stability with more volume, not that either of those should really pose a problem with stability unless yo have extraordinary conditions.

Have you personally seen an acrylic yellow I haven't yet

I've always had glass, but wouldn't mind trying an acrylic tank someday. I'd go with the 180.

I love/prefer acrylic because it is light weight, never had a problem with yellowing but they do scratch if you stare at them ;-) Also I have been much more restricted on what I can put off the back of the acrylic tank - not using a sump and the openings in it are small and restrictive if you need to hand equipment off the tank.

???? No idea what that means...

It basically means there are 2 small openings in the acrylic on the top - which you cannot fit a lot of different type of skimmers on the back of the tank and can put less (skimmers, reactors etc) on the tank b/c there is no available space or openings. (eg. this is not a custom tank which may differ)
