So I was at my LFS the other day and to my astonishment they had a 8" Actinodendron plumosa (or one that looked a lot like plumosa). I go to the store roughly 1-2x per wk so it must have been a recent addition. They had the specimin in the low light area of the tank (with the rest of the nems, no idea why but this is the same LFS that keeps holothuria on chunky gravel and gorgonians in high light with the SPS).
I was toying with the idea of picking it up; priced at $70, I consider a steal for such a rare specimen. There is not a whole lot of info out there about the care of these guys which I assume is because of their wonderful sting. I was wondering if any of you have kept a nem of this genus before and would you mind giving me some inkling of its care requirements?
