No water changes are done on this tank. Skimmer set to skim very wet. Salt and fresh water added every 4-7 days to keep up salinity and water volume stability.

I realize that some of you would disagree but if it works it works. I have good coraline growth and the acans are reproducing extremely well. SPS have good polyp extension.

I feel that the more i mess with the tank the harder it is to keep the parameters that i have worked hard to achieve. I had a two month battle with Dino and GHA. Since i started my current method all that has been beaten and my tank is flourishing.

A 48 gallon ADA 90P aquarium makes a for a cute little sump here on the 180+ gallon display tank forum.

sorry we arnt all made of money... and i doubt you would use an ADA 90P for a sump.....

send the link?

Hes not making fun of the amount of money you make, he was simply stating that your tank is a little small for the "Large Reef Tank" forum. The size of your tank would be considered a "sump" for some of the tanks here. You should of posted here http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1

Nice tank though. How long is has the tank been up and running?

Oh well it was too big for the nano forum and i figured it was a bit small for this one... i forgot you can post them to the general forum.

it has been running for 4 months but all the rock and most of the water was transferred from a 5 year pristine tank. so i kinda cheated on the cycle lol. but it did go though its stages.

Is there a way for the admin to take what is in this thread and add it to my journal.. i forgot i had started a journal when i started rebuilding the stand.
