I have a clownfish, not sure which kind ( False Percula ? ) , in my tank since about a year.

I would like to add a new fish but i'm not sure if a second clownfish or a different fish.

If i get a really small clownfish would it turn the opposite sex of mine?
can they fight?

Agreed, just get a smaller one and they should get along just fine. There might be some initial aggression, but if you get one small enough I highly doubt it.

By the way your clown is a real and true Percula. Note the orange eyes. False percula or Ocellaris clowns have black eyes, no orange. This usually holds true but not always.

And yes, get a smaller one around an inch in length, not much more than that. Do not get a bigger one. This is usually best practice when adding a second clown.

thanks

clownfish grown alone like mine are female?

at what size do they change sex from male to female?
