I've been running t5/led lights for about 3 years now. Blue + and coral + is the way to go. If you go with 4 bulbs, you could do 3 blue and 1 coral. Or 2 blue, 1 coral, and 1 purple +.

I actually already pulled the trigger on the 1 blue plus and 1 coral plus. i will just put both in front and adjust the color of my LEDs to get the balance i am looking for. thing i am going to have to figure out now is how much do i need to adjust the intensity of the LEDs???? or if i even need to at all? also how high off the water should i put the T5s? the LEDs will be about 8 or 10in off water, what should i do with T5s, same?

FWIW, I cut back my intensity substatially when I added my T5. I cut it back from 65% to 45%. Slowly I've been adding back. Currently at 55% and will likely stay here for a while. My lights are about 12" AWL. I did notice some SPS lost some pop when I decreased the intensity. Since increasing again they are coming back!

8-10" is fine for t5s. I would just keep your LEDs and t5s at the same height.
Which LEDs are you running? 2-t5s aren't a TON more par, so if you do cut back the LEDs, I wouldn't go that crazy. Maybe cut back 10-15%

I have my LEDs programmed to ramp up and down during the day. i figure i would only adjust the intensity mid day when i program the T5s to come on. figured i would drop them down by 15%. Think i will start off only running the t5s for 2 hours a day for a bit to get the corals adjusted to them.

the LEds are evo ts100's. i have 2 of them.

No, go ahead and drop it by 15% or so and VERY CAREFULLY watch your corals. If you see slight bleaching/loss of PE, stressed appearance decrease a little more and be patient.
