It makes for a more natural look, gives tons of useful bacteria as the rock becomes full of coralline algae/acropora. Plus, it gives a place for myriad critters to live and breed.

Tank is pretty clear this morning, minus some stuff in the water, hopefully some filter pads will take care of it.

Yeah it's one of those things you want till it gets out of hand. 5 months here and none yet not even on power heads
