Added the wrong ammonia to cycle

Stupid move. I've added ammonia that has both a surfactant and scent twice in the last week to my cycle. Now what? Drain it and start over? Do I vinegar soak everything?

Total of 60ml over the course of a week. Just drained it (in the garage for now anyway). I vinegar washed the tank. Carbon is a solid idea since the rocks likely have stuff on them.
Thanks

i know its too late, but i agree w/ brett. a wc and carbon=all is good.
most otc products dont contain cyanide or toxic metals.

Only had 50 gal in there anyway and took the rocks out to design the aquascape. Easy enough to give a quick rinse. When the cycle fails and everything crashes, then we'll know for sure if I should have rinsed the rocks, right? Lol

To be honest any European/German cars I would just lease. 3.0 supercharger are good motor plenty of power, haven't seen to many oil consumption issues. Just a lot of software updates. Make sure it's a Quattro not a front track

If they didn't stop the sell of the TDI I would tell you to get that instead. Audi is more into fuel economy which is good

...on a side note dose your tank with ammonia up to the 2ppm level ONE TIME ONLY! There is no need to continue to dose your tank once the ammonia is at the 2ppm level, do so will only lead to higher nitrates at the end of the cycle and could actually slow down your cycle. Contrary to popular myth, the bacteria does not need to be fed, it will live a year or more without additional ammonia.

The goal is to purchase a 2-year old lease return. She works 1 mile from home. Her 2007 SUV has 84k miles on it. And no payments for the last 6 years!!! Mileage becomes a trivial issue when you drive that little.

First time doing it this way. Who would have thought I had something to learn about cycling at this point?

lease return Audi vehicles carry a good warranty. Purchase a certified pre own Audi where it goes thru a 3 page checklist(that I half to do) making sure all software are up to date & service history has been performed. Let me know when your ready, I can try to make some phone calls(Concord Audi, Oakland Audi & San Francisco Audi is I'm working)

Thanks. A year out yet. Just starting my homework. Not sure how to determine her color of choice without being obvious. Need to enlist her friends to spy for me. She's had black for so long I can't imagine her going for that, but a black A6 with black rims would be super sick! Wait, this is HER car..... dang it!

Just pay attention. Chat cars a little bit. See what SHE points out. ;)
