Adding 2nd Pair

I am upgrading my tank from a 75 to a 150 in 3 weeks. Right now I have a breeding pair of false percula clowns. I have read where people have been able to keep 2 pair of clowns together in a big tank. My tank dimensions will be 6 x 2 x 2. Will I be able to keep a 2nd pair if I put 2 anemones in the tank, one on each side. And if so, what would types could I keep. I would like to get a different type to go with the ones I have.

Most likely any other clowns you add will take to hosts more aggressively than those occs, so they may get the boot, maybe killed.
Then you'll probably have a pair of clowns that canvass the tank for both nems, and instead of claiming 2 square feet, they'll own the whole tank.
I've seen some w/ like 300g+ pull it off, at least short term, but even then it's a gamble.
 
Id say it depends what the 2nd pair would be? Something like skunks shouldnt be too much of a problem.

My last tank was an 8' 360g tank. I had the same idea. I had a resident breeding pair of toms one side hosting a red BTA, i added a green BTA to the other side literally 8 foot away, and added a pair of saddlebacks.
The Toms wernt aggressive at all to the saddlebacks but the female continually went back and forth between the 2 nems. This looked alittle insettleing to the toms as when in a nem they couldnt settl as they felt the need to dart other to the other one. So i moved the green BTA next to the red one and added a blue carpet to the otherside, saddlebacks went straight into the carpet and all woz well for years..

Your call. Im thinking about doing it in my 220g tank.

I wouldn't count on the anemones staying where you want them too.

As for pink skunks --- mine were mellow for the first two years that I had them, but now that they are spawning they have become a lot more aggressive.
 
Kobesan, this would help. But there arnt any guarantes.

Any clown will get agqressive when spawning, adding a second pair to a tank containing an already spawning pair is always going to be more difficult. though a tank with two pairs in, the fish will establish boundries and if they then start spawning there is no reason the aggresion between pairs should increase because the fish felt save enough to spawn in the first place.

Might be worth moving the rockwork around a little, this will upset the resident pair and probebly stop them spawning, then add the second pair and they will all have to establish boundries again. At the moment your false percs boundries is the entire tank, which isnt the best enviroment to throw a second pair into.

Right now they are in a 75 gallon tank. I my new 150g tank will delivered to me in 2 weeks, so I figured if I was able to add a 2nd pair, then it would be best for me to add them to the new tank at the same time as the rest of the fish.
 
I am doin allright comin up on a year and 4 months on my carpet which is hosted by 2 clarki's and 2 tomatoes host a zoa cave

LOL, I was thinking same thing!
I hope people just coming into the hobby don't think this is a good idea.
