Adding 4 Way Switchable Plug Bar

Looking at the manual i see that digitalpower bars go to s1-s4 and non digital power bars go to s5-s8

after assigning the digital power bar and starting the number at 1 on for the power bar, i plug in the regular 4 way controller.. but when I edit the function for socket number 6 to always on, my 3rd outlet on the 4 way bar is the one being activated, so I guess theyre crossed

any ideas?

Yep ;)

The clue is in the numbering of the analogue inout socket S5-S8

Analogues can not be socket programmed they are fixed to what S socket they are plugged into so in this case that is S5-S8 so these sockets number are already in use.

Program the digital power bar to S9 onwards, you can then use socket through 1-4 at a later date for a dosing pump etc.

Thank you! One last thing, is there a manual for connecting the PIII to the internet? I'm running on 5.04. I put a static ip, changed the default gateway and subnet mask through the PC software, along with the other info in my router.. but when i type in the local ip of the PIII nothing comes up, it just comes back in error.

Is there something I need to load or do?

Thanks again

Hi

There is no manual specifically becuase every clients connection will differ from one another, however we have a mulitude of talents on here that would be willing to help you, sorry I am not one of them Gareth got me connected.

I think you will also find benefit in creating an account and post any tech questions in the GHL global official help forum where you will always get a faster reply especially to connectivity issues

I still havent been able to use the forum because I haven't been granted permission to post threads.

I have WAN and LAN, would having WAN conflict with the LAN? No matter what I do, I still can't access the webserver. I thought it would be easy but not sure what's happening.. tried looking through the support forum

turns out something is not seated properly within the PIII. the LAN lights were not until i moved the unit. I can access the webserver now
