Adding a 3rd clown?

I recently lost one of my black clowns during my transition out of my 240 to a 29g Biocube.

So I bought another one a couple days ago, and things with that one are going good - can I add another one?

I don't think I want anymore livestock other than just clownfish, but I'm not sure how that would work. I had 6 in my 240, and gave all my livestock away to a LFS when the tank developed a crack.

Maybe at some point I'll return to the bigger tanks, but for now I'm enjoying the Biocube, a lot, and just curious if I can house 3 clowns!

3 in a 29 gallon biocube is not a good idea. A pair will form and will make life hell for the unpaired fish.

Agreed. Only 2 clowns in that size tank. Once a pair bonds and begins spawning they'll kill off the third clown.

I'm surprised you managed 6, even in a 240. How old were they? (no dice to 3 in a 29ga.)

I have issues with just two! lol I own like 4 pair in different tanks, and even on my 135 gallons its impossible to add a 3rd. I noticed that when they host an anemone it gets worse!
