Adding a clown to an already populated anemone??

The anemone is an RBTA and the single clown is a True Percula. I plan to get the combo from a friend and put it into my 180g. If I add another Perc., will they get along or is there some way to introduce them to each other wothout a battle??

Some clowns will not let other clowns into their anenome, even if they pair, and some will, so it's up to the clown. Also they probably will fight over who's going to be the female. There is less of a chance of a "battle" the new clown is alot smaller than the old one.

I hate to even suggest this, but would it be feasible to get two all new clowns together?? I know, I know, I have read that removing a clown from it's host is very stressful. I guess I could always just work with one clown, but that wouldn't be very nice to the exisiting clown.

OR

Do I wait for a period of time before introducing clown 2 or should I introduce it when I bring the new anemone/clown 1 home?? Kind of throw in another fish to the already somewhat complicated move?!? Does that make sense?? Introduce the new fish as I am iintrocducing the anemone/clown 1 to the tank. Mayve in all the confusion (hopefully no stress), clown 1 will not remember that there wasn't a clown 2.

Is your clown and the clown your getting the same size? If they were both living along they could be both female. fighting over sex or "sexing" isn't really a bad thing. You just have to watch them to make sure thats all they are doing, and not fighting to the death... one will most likely turn male...

Turning from a male to a female is a one-way street. Once a female, always a female. Two females will most likely fight to death.

A board isn't a board without a duplicate question or two, but thanks for the sugesstion, I will indeed look.

Anyway, I have (or will have in about an hour), one percula and will get the other sometime soon. I will try to get a smaller one. Oh, I will ask the previous owner the history of his clown and we will decipher wheter or not this is a fewmale or male.

Thanks KellyandCarrie for your help.
