Adding a flame wrasse with mystery wrasse

The mystery wrasse is already well established. Will the flame wrasse be ok or will there be warfare? Tank is 50g with 3 other fish. Thanks and please let me know ASAP as I plan to pick him up tomorrow.

Its hard to say. Mystery wrasses have a rap of being aggressive especially as they get older. I've had one in my 120 for several months and its been fine with my other wrasses. It was the last fish in however. I also feed my fish several times a day. Its just my theory but I think keeping them well fed lessons competition.

Do you have an acclimation box? When you are ready to introduce the flame, I'd put it in there for a few days to see how they react to each other.

I second the acclimation box. IMO adding the flame may be risky business, especially in that size tank. Mystery wrasses as stated can get rather aggressive, so definitely keep the wrasse in the acclimation box until your comfortable the mystery won't tear him up upon releasing the flame.
