Adding A Flower Anemone

Hello All -- It's been awhile

Considering adding a Flower Anemone to my 20 Gallon Nano

Problem, I have a Beau Gregory Damsel with a history. Mainly I had recently added a Xenia - umbellata Whit Pumping - in less than 24 hours he tore it to shredds - really destroyed it.

That being said - if I add a Anemone and he attacks it also - what are its defenses and would it react with toxin - or how would it defend itself.

Feeding the Anemone - meaty foods once a week - what kinds of meaty foods - ?? i.e. table shrimp or myis (sp) shrimp - or frozen food

they are pretty sticky..it should be able to hold its own...
like all anemone's they have stinging cells, and much like jelly fish, the miniature spears fire into the host, stunning it.

I highly doubt he'll pick a fight with it for long. As far as feeding goes, they'll eat just about anything. I don't feed mine routinely, but they consume pellets, flakes, table shrimp, and I'd assume silverslides/other meaty foods.

Good luck, they are hardy, colorful, and don't move much. They reproduce via sperm/gammetes and cannot be hacked in half.
