Adding a Goby?

Hello RC,

So I am thinking of adding a goby, but was looking for suggestions. Something a little different than the standard sand sifter. I have a 56g tank and only a Midas Blenny so far. I was looking into maybe getting a Court Jester Goby or Hector's Goby. Something that would pick at the rocks as well as the sand. I have no clue about thses fish though. Or maybe a Black Barred Convict Goby? Something with some color. Any suggestions?

I will follow along. Not exactly what you requested but a blue neon Goby is pretty cool. My friend has one and it moves around, stays out front, and has a nice color. I'm actually ordering one today.

Oh yeah. I love those guys. I had a pair in my 65 gallon. I used to love to watch them clean my Blue Tang. I actually may add one as well.

I am really curious about the Court Jester Goby and Hector's Goby or a similar fish suggestion. There is just not a lot of info on them except what I can find on L.A.

I think the Court Jester and other similar species might be hard to feed. Sometimes they starve. But I've never had one. They are pretty.

Yeah. There are about 5 threads on here if you do a search. That's about all I can come up with, that they are grazers and won't take to prepared foods. I am curious though. L.A. has captive bred Court Jesters.

I don't know. I guess I'll let this thread go a few more days and then just pick one. Probablly getting the Black Barred Convict Goby, even though it sounds like I will never see it. :D

Thanks.
