adding a little more color

does anyone have any experience with these type of ebay led strips? I am looking to add just a little more blue to my 50/50 pc lit tank. I am not looking for tons more light just want a little mpre spread and a little ore blue tint. My big concern is that these may be so weak that they dont change the color at all. thinking of placing them under a eclipse 3 hood.

I don't see why those wouldn't work. they might not get crazy blue, but I would think it would be enough to give a blue tint. I would just worry about how fast those leds will burn out. or how many of them will actually work when it gets to you.
