adding a perc

i have a 2 1/2" -3" perc (dont know true or false) that is hosting a GBTA and has been in the tank alone for over 3 years. i would really like to get a pair of blacks or picassos to add to the tank. is there anyway i can add a pair and have them all get along?

or as an alternative, can i put in one smaller black to pair up with the existing one?

with that size...i'd say put in a smaller one...unless you completely part with that one and start new with a pair of picassos or blacks...if you really want a pair of picassos or blacks, parting with a regular clown shouldn't be too hard...

yeah i once suggested it (even though im kinda attached to it too after all this time) and was met with indignant insults, mutiny and genral threats of revolt from my family so no go on that.
