Adding a second Vorteh

I am running the latest firmware on the Apex, WXM and Vortechs, Eco-Smart models.

4D11, 004, 2.2

I have deleded and readded the WXM numerous times trying different methods, each time I delete the WXM it removes the associated Vortech_x_X outlets.

My problem is no matter what I do, I can get the system to "automagically" assign an outlet number to the second added vortech. I have no problems making either vortech "vortech_5_1" but when I add the second it does not get assigned an outlet number. I get the serial number for both and an "ok" for both but no outlet name.

Anyone seen such a problem?

I've done my searching here and found nothing.

I had that same problem when going from one to two Vortech's. I did a clear on both vortechs, then deleted everything from the Apex. Then started over.

When I added a third vortech, everything went fine.

I have also tried clearing just one vortech at a time and tried readding.

I've restarted the Apex after the WXM removal and add and also after adding each Vortech. Still no luck.

What have I missed?

I tried to delete the Vortech outlet from the web interface but it never really worked. Once I did it from the Apex itself it worked

Ok, I have removed the WXM via the display unit, then cleared both Vortechs. After readding, same result.

After I delete the WXM I verify both it and the outlet for the Vortech disappears.

I have also tried powering off the first programmed Vortech before adding the second.

As a side note; after I add the second Vortech it always stays in contant mode, where as the first unit takes the profile the apex defaults the outlet to. I just see this as confirmation the Apex is not sending an outlet profile to the pump nor adding it as an outlet.

Any other thoughts or methods to try? I'll try anything before taking Curt's time away from his normal work.

Just an update incase anyone searches and finds this post, for me Beta 4.10 fixed my issue.
