Adding additional seahorses...?

While I am under the impression that seahorses are fairly social and good natured... does anyone have any experiences with adding younger sea horses with older?

My first pair I purchased in July 09'. They've grown quite fast. And, now that it seems I can sufficiently care for them, the pair that I want to add this weekend are about the same size as my first pair when I had purchased them. I'm terrible at guessing, but I would say that the size of my older pair would be almost double that of the ones I want to add? (Not in outstretched height but rather overall appearance? ...if that makes sense or not...) Does size or age tend to matter or be an issue when keeping sea horses together?

I havn't a clue, but am sure you will get a pros thoughts on this, but I would like to see a pic of your tank if you have the time.

As long as you know about QTing all new livestock and are aware of the disaster than can happen with mixing species/suppliers and are willing to take that risk.... you should have no issue with the size/age difference.

I've had juvies in with full size adults without many issues. Biggest issue is during feeding time - the large adults eat pretty greedily and push the small ones out of the way at the feeding dish. So make sure the new additions are eating well.
