In order to start the cycle in a 125 gallon tank with 30 gallon sump how much ammonia (pure) such I add? Is there a set amount per gallon?

It really depends on what the concentration of your ammonia is. I don't recall the exact math, but someone told me and I've always used 1mL per 5 gallons of Ace Hardware 10% ammonia. I use a syringe to measure and add. Of course, I'm always paranoid, so I stop short, wait 30 minutes for the ammonia to circulate, and run an ammonia test before adding the full amount with this calculation.

5mL is roughly a teaspoon, so I would go with 4 teaspoons, circulate it good and test. This should come in around 4-5ppm.
