Adding bluejaw trigger to tank. Problem?

Hi, In my 125 FOWLR I currently have only a dogface puffer. I would like to add a Bluejaw trigger next since my LFS has a nice one in stock. But, I am worried that if I put the BJ in next it will be territorial towards the rest of the fish I put in later.

The rest of the fish I am planning on adding are:
Raccoon Butterfly or a Foxface
Flame Angel
A large Goby
Large Tomato Clown

So, my question is about stocking order. I know the BJs are less aggressive as triggers go, but do you think I will have a problem down the line if I add him next?

Any input is appreciated.

mellowest trigger you will ever see, don't worry about it. actually, I would have added him first.

Good luck with him. I love mine. She is still smallish, about 4 inches. Kept with Hawaiian leaf fish, waspfish, green wolf eel blenny. Also a bunch of scarlet reef hermits and soft corals. She has never bothered anything in the tank. She will be going into a 210 in a couple months, and then I will find a male to keep with her.

I keep mine with angelfish, pygmy angels, gobies, wrasses, tangs. Really melow. He actually gets pushed around by my bluespotted angel.

LisaD: Did you ever get any bluespotted angels?

I wish! Ray told me he had one, but it turned out to be a grey poma. Haven't talked to him for a while. Did you see any over there or have any idea where I could get one? Marinecenter hasn't had them lately.

To update, the BJ trigger I had my eye on at my LFS was sold before I got there Saturday. But, I did get a very healthy looking 5 inch Foxface instead. I will have to be patient for the BJ.

small bluethroats are rare (atleast males are) Ive seen 3" males and females, but im from Hawaii and know a few divers and check out there stuff all the time!
Apparently smaller males come from the indo more often then hawaii. However males from Hawaii are much better looking and are usually healthier.

Here is my 3" male in the dealers tank before I bought him. Great little guy. Got him at Reefhotspot.com. No, that is not a mark on his body, just shadows.

that is a nice BJ. The one I was looking at did not have as intense coloration as that one.

are these guys reef safe? I'm thinking they arn't, but with the post that said they were mellow, it made me wonder.

I just got a blue jaw trigger about a month ago. He is really mellow. He is with a couple of percula clownfish and a purple tang. They are a really neat fish. Lots of personality. I have heard they are reef safe but have not tried it yet. I would think he might mess with shrimp though. At some point I am going to get it a try.

if any trigger is reefsafe, blue jaws would be. but I don't consider shrimp to necessarily be reef animals. I don't have shrimp in my tank because my leaf fish would eat them for sure. my trigger doesn't bother any of the snails, hermits, corals or other fish, or even try to nibble the large sea apple or Christmas tree worms. totally mellow, though she and the wolf eel occasionally do a face-off over frozen mysis or an Ocean Nutrition cube...
