Adding brass check valves to my geos...

I got them because the geo directions recommend them--do I need to cut power to the pumps to cut the CO2 tubing and put the brass one where the white plastic one is or can I just snip it without having water backwash?

Actually, I would not recommend using the brass check valve. The reason being is that saltwater leads to corrosion very quickly with brass products. These check valves will eventually freeze in either the closed or open position, causing problems.

Go with the Dennerle plastic valves, which can be found here:

In terms of installing this, just remove the existing check valve and place the Dennerle unit in the exact same spot the existing one is in.

Well, I just went with what the geo directions suggest.....maybe you all could add that to the deluxe package in the future.
