any suggestions about adding about 3 Cardinal fish to an established 75g mixed reef with a yellow tang, melanarius wrasse, and 2 ocellaris clown. Not dead set on any type. I am curious how the tang would react, knowing their bullyish behavior.
I think that there shouldn't be a problem and the only time I have ever heard of cardinals being bullies is during mating. Also as far as bangaiis go if you get three, there is a chance two will pair up and the third will be beaten and likely killed.
Pajamas will do the same. I started with 4. when they were "sexable" I figured there were 3 female and one male. The pair bullied the two extra until the bitter end. The pair wouldn't let the others eat.
I just added two bangaiis to my 75. They hang together, and none of the other fish, yellow tang included, really cares about them. Easiest addition I've made in a long time. So far, so good.
