Adding cycled rock to display

I am going to re aqua scape my 120 gallon sps tank. I was thinking about taking most of my display rock and putting it in cryptic zone In my sump and using the newer rock for my display. It's been in a tub with heater and pumps for a couple months. So moving about 100 pounds to sump and about 60 pounds moved in my display.
So my question is does anyone think I will get a cycle started? I run bio pellets, gfo, and carbon. And a large skimmer. Sump is not lighted.

You will have a bit of a bump up in nutrients for a short period of time, but nothing too drastic if you continue to skim strong and have pellets/GFO, and do water changes. Do you have any coral or fish in there? I would be concerned for some SPS if you are planning on keeping in the display potentially...

Yes there are several sps in the system. I removed almost all of the sandbed a few months back. So I wouldn't think I would stir up too much junk. I removed it over the course of about 3 months so there wasn't to much change too fast. I do 10 percent water change weekly. But when I removed sand I was doing 2 10% water changes a week because I was getting a little nuisance algae.

Has the rock in the tub finished cycling? Is the N and P at zero in the tub?

I doubt that it will have any ammonia issues, but you might have some P issues if it was previously used or dead rock that is loaded with organics.
