Adding dry rock

My tank is doing a lot of funky things, it was clear for 3 months after cycling and adding some coral frags and I have 12 fish in my 75.. I added fish every 2-3 weeks. After my last cleaning boom cyano cloudy water. So it's starting to clear. Up. My question is I still have some dry rock left over and some 2-3" rubble. Should I put it in the tank so I could have it turn live also before all the crazy stuff stops and I have a chance of adding phosphates again later. Once I get the tank clean of phosphate. With the rubble my LFS will put frags directly on the piece of rubble so it's easier to scape later in my tank. What do you guys think

12 fish in a 75 is a lot of fish to deal with. I doubt adding extra rock will help your issues, but if you simply want more rock in your tank I don’t see that it will do any harm as long as the rock isn’t high in phosphates. If the new rock is high in posphates you would be better off cooking the rock in a separate container before adding it to your display tank.
