Adding fish to clown tank. Should I risk it? Thoughts?

I have a mated clown pair that have been the sole fish in my 24-gal Aquapod for the past year. I took a trip down to a local coral shop, which has just received some goby/shrimp pairs. I'd love to add a set to my tank, but I'm concerned over possible aggression from the clowns. Would it be too risky to add these to a long established tank? I've had experiences with aggressive fish in the past (coral beauty/tang/wrasse) and I'd like to avoid that stress again.

Just get a smallish goby species. Pistol size doesn't matter much, they have a very low bio-load.
I doubt the clowns will be aggressive towards it. If they are, the pistol will shoot their faces and make them not do that.

The shrimp/ goby pairs are very small. Hi fin Red banded goby and red banded shrimp. In my larger system, the situation was reversed, and I had a clownfish pair that was harassed by a sixline of all things. Had to keep the clowns in a critter carrier in-tank until they got used to each other. I might just pass on this and save some bucks.

i don't see why it wouldn't work. if you decide to do it, introduce the goby/shrimp with an acclimation box. i've used one for every single new addition to my tank over the months and i have not had a single major aggressor.
