Adding more clowns

Currently I have a pair, not sure if mated or not, of occelaris clowns. I have a chance at free to cheap Carmel clowns from my brothers system. My tank is 220 would I end up with a territorial war? I believe all 4 clowns were tank raised.

Looks liek I will try to add them in today. My tank is still very new so I wont be adding nems yet but would each pair of clowns need a nem? If I went with one in the entire tank would both pair of clowns fight over it?

Clownfish don't need anemones to survive. They'll host corals such as Mushrooms, Duncans, Torch, Frogspawn..

I know they don't need them but if I ever add one to the system would they all fight over 1 or will I be better with 2

You should be fine...I have a 210 with about 10 anemones and 3 different species of clowns.

I had a pair of mated ocellaris clows then added 3 smaller ones and so now they all became a school more or less and they host 1 sebae and 4 different colored BTAs (3+ years for the pair, 2.5 years on the other 3)

I also have a pair of black saddleback clowns that strictly host my blue carpet anemone (Added some time after the ocellaris, ~2 years)

And I have a pair of pink skunk clowns that host only my 2 Magnificas. (Recent addition, ~2 months)

*No fighting between any of the species, I definitely think the anemones help with the territorial issues that may have occured simply because every clown keeps to their own anemone(s) and doesn't really wander around for a new spot.

If you have different species clowns then I would give them each their own anemone. But that's just me. They may never go into any anemone but still, anemones are awsome so to me the more the merrier. Obviously wait until your tank is stable.
