Adding more lyretail anthias

Hi, I had 1 male and 2 female lyretails in my 120gal reef and one of the females died. The male and female have been doing well for about 1 year now and I would like to add another 1 or 2 females, am I asking for trouble?
Would keeping 2 females in quarantine for 4 or 5 weeks risk one of them becoming male?

I don't have alot of experience with anthias but based on what I've witnessed with my lyretails I would add 3 or 4 females instead of just one or two if you have the capacity.

My tank is bit larger than yours so don't know if that affects their behavior that much 6 ft vs 4 ft. Mine definitely use the entire length especially when the male decides to get ornery. I have 1 male and 5 females, 1 or 2 of which have started to transition. If you have adequate rock work were the females can get quickly get out of the line of sight of the male you should be OK.

I have 6 currently, 1 male and rest females. I am adding two to 4 more females when my 240 is up and running in the next few weeks. There shouldn't be any issues, but I would add more if you can.
