Hello and to everyone I want to thank you for taking to the time to provide input to my question...
I am in the process of setting up a 34g Solana it will be outfitted with 150w MH with t5 actinics hood 30lbs+- Live Sand and 40+- Live Rock planning on cycling for 4 weeks adding CUC allow cycle for 2 more weeks.
Depending on test results want to add RBTA first so that it can move around the tank if necessary and find it favorite niche...
Once this occurs I plan on adding a pair of Picasso's or several very small juvinile percs (many breeders in my area so I have the opportunity to by them when they are very small and watch them grow)....
Once the livestock is acclimated for sometime I am figuring a minimum of at least one month I plan on adding corals at that time (ZOAs, Xenia, Birds Nest, Hammer or Torch)
Does this sound like a good plan... I am very aware that patience is this hobby is the key to success
please provide input of your experience whether good or bad...
BTW I am planning on doing 5 gallon water change weekly I am guessing rock and sand will displace approx 10 gallons so tank will have approx 25 gallons of water LMK if this is over kill
