Please let me know the DO/Don't

This is what i have so far.

200g Grey bin
300 lbs crushed corals
100 lbs live sand
100lbs live rock
4 bags fiji mud (refugium booster from Reefermadness)
400w SE 10k Reeflux on Lumenarc III/Standard magnetic ballast
Eheim 1260 pump

This is what i will add later
Cheato
Mangro
Huge clams 12" ^ from my display tank :)
6oz tigger pod, live mysis
May be Xenia?

What other macro algea should i add into the fuge beside caulerpa?

Do i need to add any powerhead for flow?

Will the crushed corals and live sand shot up my nitrate or PO4 due to bacteria die off?

I have been running Zeovit for so long. I don't know exactly how the refugium suppose to work. I know the fact you have to feed it slow.

Don't use the crushed coral, it will trap too much particles and cause your nitrates to climb.

I agree.

Why would you move the clams? Are they too big for the display?I think it would suck to run halides over a fuge to keep clams in it.

Flow is important. you dont want still water but you dont want a typhoon either. A powerhead or two would be a good idea.

The clam took too much space in my tank. I don't want my tank to look too busy :)
