Adding Sand to Tank

Looking to add a little sand into my established 29G nano. I bought the pictured sand and didn't know if this is what I should be adding or if I should be buying something else.

I know this isn't live sand, but was wondering if this can turn into live sand eventually or if there is a specific kind I need to buy for that.

Pretty much all sand will turn into live sand as it becomes established with bacteria. I'm not familiar with that particular sand, most use aragonite sand. I specifically use tropic eden reef flakes. It's very clean and good size. Be sure to rinse before putting in established system. If you buy tropic eden, it is very clean and requires very little rinsing.
