Adding tangs together ( sizes )

If you were adding multiple tangs in a tank, does the size matter if they are different . I have a small blue hippo waiting to be added into the big tank here in the next month. If I wanted 2 blue hippo tangs, should my other one be about the same size ? Do I have to add them at the same time ?

I was also wanting a 4-5 Desjardini Sailfin and later adding an Achilles/Blue Powder, and probably a Orange Shoulder . If the Hippos are smaller, will they get picked on ?

what size tank? Add the powder blue last. I've not kept multiple hippos, but I always see groups of similar sized hippos together.

I meant in my original post a 4-5 " BTW... Yes I am aware that they might get to big for the 180 and 4 is about the max. I meant a sailfin, orange shoulder, achilles OR blue powder , then the hippo. I was just wondering , In any tank smaller the 240 gallons, should 2 of the same fish be about the same size ?

And ... Should all of the tangs in the tank be close to the same size ? Should a more aggressive fish, like the Blue Powder be smaller than the rest ?

Yes I would add the most aggressive (powder blue OR achilles) last and make it the smallest tang. I don't think it will really matter with the hippos, but I'd try to add them together and have them be the same size.

In the current tank yes. I don't have the 180 yet . But it will have open aquascape. I wanna have a very open aquascape for all my tangs.
