Any updates. It's been a few months, I bet you've had some good growth.

Had a huge battle with a black/brown Cyno...when I killed that bit off, then had some nasty GHA growing everywhere...slowly winning the war on front. My addition of an of a very large clean up crew infantry & chaeto into the system, has helped reduce the growth and even receding in most areas.

About 6 months back i glued some pieces of GSP onto the back wall by my overflow section. Stuff has taken well to the glass and seems to steadily spreading without coming loose.

Welcome back and enjoying your "new" tank. Do you attribute the hair algae to the rocks leaching phosphates?

Heya, thanks!
Correct...I've allowed the GHA to grow a considerable length, hopefully sucking up whatever is leached in the rocks and then hopefully never to return. Going to start manually plucking the tufts off, the snails and hermit can take care of the rest.

Beautiful tank. Your coral growth in 4 months is impressive. Gluing GSP to the overflow end is an interesting idea. Have you seen that done before or was it an inspiration?

Thanks. I've done the GSP thing many years back. It never lasted this long for the simple reason when it crept over the coraline bit. It became unhinged so to speak when the coraline died off.
