Anyone know how to adjust a Euro-Reef RS5-3 skimmer for runnign wetter or drier?

I can't seem to find how to make it run wetter.
If I block the flow on the output pipe it runs wetter but there is no valve to turn down that escape water??

Thanks

If it's the same as mine move the water exit tube down a little you may also need to adjust the air also Good Luck

If you can, add a gatevalve. It will allow you greater control over your skimmer.

Ahhhhh!!!
Thanks guys.
That did it.

It's been running a few weeks now and I had not skimmed a thing, other then when I put my hand on the exit tube and made it spew stuff.

I just had to tear down the entire sump and start over because, I had a small acident with the carbon last week
:(
It got out of it's container and went EVERYWHERE in the sump. Luckily I put media in the baffels to help keep micro bubles out of the main tank so the floss in the baffels kept the carbon from spreading to the main tank. There was so much in so many crevices that I had to do a complete teardown and wash out the sump and everything in it.

What a job!!!

There were even bits of carbon caught in the neddle wheel of the skimmer. It took more work to shut it down clean everything out and setit up again than it did when I started the tank up!!

4 hours!!
Yikes there went all my afternoon
:)

Thanks for the help..
~Steve~
