I need to tap the tee for the inlet, then I can get it online.

I also have to re-do my drain line so I can switch my skimmer to a recirc. Uniseals should be here soon....

Looks good. Where did you get the Uniseals?

Ted's Spare Parts Depot!

I did order some the Savko, just waiting for them to get here. Savko's price was less then Aquatic Eco. Plus Aquatic Eco is charging a $5 service charge for orders under $30

Well I tested it with the sulfur and ARM in it. It gets pushed to the top and wants to get sucked in the top. I'll have to make a strainer and see how that works. I figure the ARM in the pump wont be good.. :mad:

I was wondering if that pump would be to much. You could put a valve on it to adjust the flow.

I quick made a strainer out of some couplings, a cap and lots of holes. Seems to be work good now.. :D

Yes, I just finished! :bounce3:

I installed a ball valve on the output side to cut back the flow some.

After 3 days in a tub with 5 gals of tank water the NO3 went from 25ppm up to 50ppm and then overnight down to about ZERO! :bounce2: :bounce1:

So I hooked it up this morning and we'll see how it goes from here. The wifey has the camera with her so I'll post pics later tonight.

Thanks again for all of your hard work getting this completed.

Next up I have to recirculate the skimmer.

Update:

I tested the tank after 3 days and my results were:
NO3 = 10ppm (down from 25ppm)
DKH = 8 (down from 9)fixed with adding Randy's alk everyday
Calc = 460
PH = 8.2

So far so good. I bumped my mag back up to 1350. It was lowered from the use of a different 2 part. DT's 2 part is really a 3 part becasue it doesnt have ANY mag in it......back to ESV.... :D

I'm very happy so far.

Still havent done the skimmer yet..:mad: I'm waiting for a new UV bulb.

Oh yeah I modded my Tunze 6025 WOW what a difference by removing alittle plastic. 30% more flow!! :D :D :D

I'm off to John's today to get another one...sssshhhhh dont tell the wifey...;)

Are you running the unit in a 5 gal. container of tank water to start the cycle, & then hooking it up to the tank water after it cycles :confused:

Thanks for a reply
