Adult queen angel stopped eating

I'm just curious about why you would all think my queen has stopped eating. It's been 2 days as of now. He shows no sign of being sick anywhere on the body or face. He use to eat anything I have him pretty much. I have had him for 4 months now and has been fine sense then. I do the q-tank procedure also with all my fish. I was thinking flukes just b/c of the appiteite and the slow swimming. He still moves around the tank just fine, but looks like he's just depressed. He loves going by the cleaner shrimp, but sometimes the shrimp wants nothing to do with him. When we feed he swims threw the food and looks at it all, but won't take any. All the other fish are fine.

The only thing diff sense this has happened. Was that we changed salt on Sunday to Red Sea pro coral salt and turned the gfo off.

220g
Red Sea salifin tang 5-6"
Blue chin trigger 5-6"
Vlamini tang 7-8"
3 clowns
Hawk fish
Filefish
Flame angel
Midnight angel
Chomeis

I had one once that I grew from a medium to a very large angel. As long as it was the dominant fish she was fine, when the clown trigger became the master she would quit eating. Sold the trigger and she ate again. This went on for several years with me buying baby clown triggers and trading them back in when they became the king.

Now that you mention that. The Red Sea sail fin has been a bully towards him lately. Today he did eat a couple bites of angel cubes so that's a plus. Whenever another fish was around specially the sail fin he wouldn't eat. I was tempted to freshwater dip him to see if any flukes fall off, but catching is going to suck. I wonder if rearanging the rocks would help. He always try's to go in the one cave where the sail fin is. Do you think he will pull threw?

I agree with your thought of rearranging the rockwork and providing enough hiding places for both fish to find one spot as their own.

Also, you didn't raise the salinity when you switched salts, did you?

If it is a bullying issue try the above. I have done water changes and it seemed to give the fish new energy and appetite. I do frequent water changes anyway but it has worked for me before.

Nope the salinity stayed the same. Im going to rearrange the rock work this sunday if I have time. Its such a pain sense its 30" deep:spin2:

Today he is out swimming alot more, but has not ate anything else ,but angel cubes. I even got some brine and didnt care at all. Feeding is about now so we will see if he eats tonight.

I picked up some prazipro tonight just incase I see anymore symptoms for fluke. I q-tank every fish for 6 weeks, but not for flukes:hmm3: Thought I was doing it all right this time....grrrr
