Advice caring for Carnation Tree Corals

I'm considering putting in a couple of carnation tree corals in my 180 gallon tank. It's 8 months old and seems to be thriving well. I posted another thread about wanting a couple of carnation corals and someone suggested to get some advice here first. This is why I love RC. So my question is what do I need to do to get prepared to care for carnation corals. My tank as I said is 180 gallons with T 5 HO's, About 180/200 lbs LR, and 100 lb of LS. I've got lots of flow with 4 power heads, Plenty of areas with shade. I have 11 fish that I feed a frozen food mixture thats made up of lots of stuff I see that you guys are feeding your NPS corals. I feed twice a day. Also once a week I target feed. And once a week I just dump a little something in the tank. My parameters are Ph 8.2, Temp 80, nitrates, ammonia and nitrites 0, P04 0.03, Ca 490, Alk 3.65, Mg 1400, Salinity 1.026.

Welcome... and kudos to you for asking here first.

Unfortunately, you will not succeed with dendronephthya with your setup. You really need a system that is specifically designed around their care. Check out the "Dendronephthya study group version 2" thread in this forum for more information. Also, check out my build thread.
