Advice, dissolving kenya tree save or euthanize

Had the coral in the tank for about a year, grew wonderfully. Three days ago, it started closing up. Today it is rapidly dissolving slough ing off pieces of itself. I'm afraid if it dies off it will cause the whole tank to get out of whack, should I euthanize and cut my losses? Other toadstool leather and sinularia leather and LPS are fine. Parks are nitrates 10ish, sal 1.027, CA 440, MG 1380 and all 6.9. That is lower than usual but my tank is odd, the parts have been right around these numbers for a year, all is usually between 7 and 7.6. Despite trying to raise it just doesn't budge. Advice? Try to save or remove?

Coral in center of photo. Thanks

I removed. When I moved it, a ton of dead flesh blew off and there seems to be a hole dissolving in the middle. I don't think it's coming back and I don't want to risk the whole tank getting out of balance. Still, very bummed out . . .

they are a strange coral. I have two huge ones in my reef tank the biggest one is 14 tall by say 12 inch around when fully inflated.. they will often deflate and seem like they are going to fade away then the next day poof they start coming back. but as they do they drop off new corals.. I get the smaller new pieces out quickly...

But i have one in my clown tank that seems just like yours. same water as the big tank who knows whats going on with it
