Advice for adding tisbe copepods to all-in-one tank

So, I bought a bottle of Tisbe Copepods I would like to add to the tank.

According to a MD video, they state using a long feeding tube and slowly add the entire bottle down into the substrate at night with no lights.. Turn off all the pumps for at least 15 minutes.

1.) I have never added pods before, not sure if I should put some in the back compartments where my Matrix Rock lives as well?
2.) Should I remove the 200-micron filter sock and go back to the normal filter pads for at least a little while until they establish themselves?
3.) Do I need to acclimate temperature in the bottle to the tank water before dumping them in ?

Any other advice would be appreciated.

You probably will never get a good population of pods with a all in one tank with no sump. Their won't be any place for them to hide like in a fuge in the sump

I would agree that is why I included the "all-on-one" in the topic. I have a back compartment/chamber that is full of Seachem Matrix (porous rock), would it make sense to pour some in there as well?

I was also thinking of cultivate some these in a small empty tank, do I store the open bottle at room temperature or do I put in the refrigerator after opening the bottle?

I'd just float to temp acclimate then dump them in...
There is little point in doing anything else..
Even if many are filtered out their population will build right back up in response to available food..

A quote from the reefcleaners site
All this said, there is usually no "point" in adding pods to your system. They come in one way or another over time, and make little if any appreciable impact on cleaning. Usually people just get them for curiosity purposes, or want to start a food culture for a particular fish.

Floating the bottle in the main tank right now. I am just going to dump the whole bottle tonight.
As to what is the point, I am willing to try some things -- I feel like I would rather try and see what happens...

One site states the following about Copepods:

"they also add to your clean-up-crew by consuming detritus, phytoplankton and invasive algae in your aquarium "

i usually added mine when lights were out . Now a couple months later at night I can shine a light on my main tank and they are all over the rocks hunting for food. Very cool . Did not have a sump so added to main tank and now they populate my live rock .
