hi everyone. im in the fourth week into the first cycle. got these growing on 1 of the live rock n they seem to be thriving under bright lights. few quick questions:

1. does anybody know what are these? some kinda macroalgae / marine plant?
2. i kinda like how they look now, and i dont want to introduce fishes that will feed on them. will tangs or lawnmower blennies feed on these?

thanks in advance!

That is macroalgea, maybe Halimeda? Not sure if fish will go for that or not. Macroalgae is good though. It will absorb nitrates and phosphates if you let it grow and trim it regularly.

thanks for your input but im quite certain its not any of those 2. it looks more like mermaids fans but i just cant tell for sure.

thanks fishhuman! its a 110gal DT with a 45gal sump.

i need some help on creating my stocking list. i currently have 3 green chromis and a scott's fairy. am hoping to keep a trigger (a niger maybe), some dwaft angels, 5-7 chromis, few nice wrasses, no butterflies no foxfaces. any tips or advices?
